Okay so I just bought some activated charcoal because I've heard such good things about it and wanted to try it out. I just mixed it with a little water to form a paste and then spread it all over my face and let it sit for about 15 minutes. But when I rinsed it off, the charcoal just seemed to make more pores even more noticeable! It's like little particles of the charcoal are now clogging my pores and I just wanted to check and make sure that that was supposed to happen and if not, how do I use charcoal correctly? Please help!

This happened to me, I don't know what the reason for it was though. It also made my face extremely red and blotchy looking. This happened with more than one charcoal product.

All I did was pop open a capsule of the charcoal and mix it with a little water and this is sorta freaking me out because I don't want to ruin my skin.

Sometimes if you have really oily skin and already large pores the charcoal lodge into pores you just have to take extra time getting it out. Thus happened to my friend, she bought like an ounce if charcoal powder or something and mixed with water and a dash if tee tree oil and she encountered the same problem. Her skin was like I said above, oily and large pores. She used a wash cloth and pressed it against her skin and if needed GENTLY rubbed to remove the charcoal bits.

The perfect product for that is called BioPore. It is so great and it's self warming so it feels great!
