This, much like everything else, depends on your skin. Some people's skin will purge when they switch products or routines, and others will not. It is down to you and your skin :)

I went through the same thing as Jacqlyn when I was on Accutane! It took me 4 months to see improvement 😩😪

Yes it is a real thing. does it happen to everyone? no. and the side effects can be different for everyone. when I started school for esthetics and wee use dermalogica there were some girls with acne and it got worse because we were all using dermalogica but then their faces improved so much so it really depends. I'm sure that line isn't for everyone but luckily it worked for all of us.

My skin purged aswell while on accutane! All worth it though!!

Skin purging usually happens with medication or chemical exfoliaters like retinol, Alpha hydroxy acids, and it also should be short lived , not go on for weeks , you have to determine if your purging or just breaking out.
