There are thousands of products on the market. What's her price range? What kind of look is she going for? Does she look better with warm or cool tones? A trip to your local Sephora to check out some products and get some samples may be a good idea for such a big project.

I agree with Kathryn R. - she should go to some different makeup counters and try some products. One of the tutorials I watched online was a woman who had a darker complexion and her makeup was stunning! There are lots of products out there, she just needs to figure out what she wants!
