I live in the country so I have really rusty water that turns my hair and orange/ brassy color. My hair is naturally blonde so it doesn't look pretty!
Have any of you ever had to deal with something like this? What worked the best and had a lasting result? Thanks

I'd recommend installing a water filter on your shower head, personally. That seems like it would solve the problem best, and they're fairly cheap and easy to install.

I second what Hannah said, but also try to find a purple-toned shampoo that will get rid of the brassiness.

Also get a Malibu treatment.

^ I agree with Hannah w. You can find water filters at most hardware stores.

Thanks for all the advice😊
I have a water softener which helps but the water is still really rusty. Does the filter go in the shower head itself?

I believe placement depends on which filter you pick. Mine used to go on over/instead of the existing shower head.
