I just put it on a napkin or cotton ball and rub/pat it all over my face. Then be sure moisterize :) and you don't have to wash it off!

Take a hot shower to open up your pores and then right after put on a face mask! this really really helps for me, it gets all of the gunk out of your pores and it unclogs them.

Make sure to exfoliate and I agree with Dyanna to take a shower to open up your pores then follow up with a face mask, like the Origin's Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask or the Freeman's Peel Off Mask.
