I have brush shampoo but I find that dial antibacterial soap (bar or hand wash) works lovely. I scrub them then squeeze them out and lay them flat to dry on a paper towel.

For a deep clean (usually done once every 2-3 weeks) you can use this.
swirl your brushes in a mixture of 2 parts dish soap 1 part extra virgin olive oil. Then rinse in water. Repeat this until all the water is clear. Make sure not to get any water above the farrel.
For a daily cleaning you can use a spot cleaner. I recommend the E.L.F. Daily brush cleaner. It is only 3? maybe 5 dollars, but it gets the job done.
