Share your favorite self tanner, why and how you apply it it! Can be airbrush, spray, lotion, gel, etc. I love learning new tips and tricks others have and use with self tanners to give the best even natural color! :)

I love using St.Tropez bronzing mousse. I apply it using a tanning mitt that also has the body buffer side to help full coverage and prevent patchy areas x

Oooh I like that idea! Where do you purchase it? And what's the smell like? I really hate that god awful sunless tanning lotion smell, if you know what I'm talking about; and so many self tanners smell so bad the next day of wearing them >.< yuck!

Not sure where you live but I'm from the UK so I purchase my tan and mitt from beauty stores like Boots, some retailers sell the mitt separtely and they are really cheap to buy. The tan itself is quite expensive but it does last me a long time, personally I dont really think the St. Tropez bronzing mousse has any smell, the good thing about St.Tropez bronzing mousse is that you leave it for 12 hours to develop and after 12 hours you can shower to get rid of any possible tanning smell and the tan stays on and looks more natural x

That's awesome! I live in florida, so we have Ulta, and Sephora. I think I can order it online though. Have you ever tried using a brush like this instead of the tanning mitt?

They work soo well! That's what I currently use with just a self tanner from a beauty supply store, it works so well and doesn't leave any streaks, especially if the tanner has a color block in it (it's just color when you put it on so you know where it goes& can see the streaks) I've had such good experiences with this, but wanted something that is bigger and more quick! Thanks for the tips!! :)

This is basically what I'm talking about, I haven't tried the million dollar tan spray she uses although I want to, I haven't found anywhere that sells it! But this is excactly how I apply my spray tan to my skin too! And it's helped me soo much :)

I've never tried the tanning brush but it looks really handy especially if it has a handle for those hard to reach areas like the back x

Yes! And what's really nice about it is that I just spray my tanner directly on it and so it has very minimal messiness rather than only spraying yourself down in the shower. Plus the smaller brushes are great for curved places and your neck/face if you apply it there- I sometimes do, it doesn't make me break out or anything, it just doesn't stay on your face too long with washing it so much. Plus these brushes are super cheap, I get them from a local craft store for 39 cents each! And I have two of every size, they come in 3", 2" & 1" and all of them are great to have, and have backups too. Cleaning them is really easy, I just run them under lukewarm water until the water is clear and press them against the side of the sink and lay them on a towel to dry for a few hours, it's really nice because you don't have to get your hands wet or wash your hands after you've spray tanned yourself (which if you put it on your hands you know what a pain in the ass it can be to make your hands match& look natural, let alone to not get them wet for a few hours)!
