Lately I have been mixing it up and using powder or foundation for highlighting and contouring but I'm not sure which would be best... if you have suggestions on which ones you use that is inexpensive pleaassse tell me lol.

I don't contour but for highlight I've used nyx ritualistic which is kinda shimmery and now I'm using candlelight duo by too faced which is more subtle, I like this one better. It's a rosy glowy color on one side and a champagne color on the other.

For a cream contour I use a darker shade of the L'oreal true match concealer stick and that works quite well. You just have to blend it out after. For a cream highlight I like the Maybelline dream lumi concealer in radiant. For a powder contour I use the Rimmel natural bronze because it's matte and not too orangey. For a powder highlight physicians formula as some good ones although the overspray is a bit glittery at first.

Lots of folks have good luck using the taupe blush from nyx as a contour shade. There are lots of budget priced contour palettes out there. (BH, Morphe, Coastal Scents) You could also make yourself a highlighting contour palette with the inglot system.

Eyeshadows are great contour products when on a budget...and even when you're not. A taupe eyeshadow will work great, I use one by KIKO which isn't available everywhere but you can use your favorite brand instead! :D.

I go for the nyx blush in taupe for contour, and for highlight I use the Seventeen Skin Wow 3 way highlighter :)
