I've been trying to grow out my hair and my hair dresser said Biotin helps. I bought some but I recently started to break out...does it possibly like back to the biotin? And what is a good supplement for a 16 year old girl to take? And any tips to grow hair??

Biotin can cause breakouts, make sure to drink lots of water with it and don't take too much. if it continues to happen after lowering how much you take, then I would suggest to stop taking it.

Please do NOT take any pills unless you consult a doctor first! Taking pills without a deficiency could cause serious health problems.
There's not miracle product or technique to make hair grow faster than genetics allows. However there are things you can do to promote hair growth.
-use sulphate free shampoo
-use a hair mask at least once a week
-never brush hair when wet
-use heat as little as possible
-use a heat protectant when you do use heat
-make sure your ponytails/buns aren't too tight
-drink plenty of water and keep yourself healthy as well

Its not really your age that's the problem, so don't worry about that aspect. I'm 14 and I take 2 1000 mcg biotin capsules a day and I never break out, just remember our bodies are all different and react to things differently.

Biotin is proven to cause acne. I did some research on it before I started using it and I'm glad I did, because I already have cystic acne to begin with :)
