The shade I picked up looks brown in the tube but when applied to the lid it looks like a beautiful plummy brown. Its somewhat of a complex shade because up close it looks purple. No creasing nor has it faded and it went on bare skin (no primer). So for those wanting to explore GA eye colors the Eye Tints are worthy to investigate.

They are perfect Lori! A another fan of them was there to pick up more when I was present and she said they are perfect "for us older dames". I would've stayed and probably bought more if I wasn't under such a tight schedule.

Oh that's a tough one Kelly because I did manage to swatch Jade and I loved that one. I think Meniut would make for a great smokey eye. I would go for Jade...or just say screw it and get both.lol.

Shelley, I did end up getting Jade although I'm pretty sure I'll get a few more next time I'm in Nordstrom and can see them in person. I did however also order the luminous silk foundation and the Rouge Ecstasy Lipstick in 400 to get the free blending brush. Lol, I'm a hopeless addict. These are my first Giorgio Armani products except for perfumes. I'm pretty excited, thanks for the swatch and review!

Sorry more questions... Does a cream shadow only go on the lid? Or are various shades applied to the crease and brow bone? Also can you layer powder shadows under or over cream ones?? I am intrigued but not very skilled in makeup application.

I find cream shadow pots difficult to apply but with this one coming in a tube with an applicator that allows you to go in with a synthetic brush I think it might be more user friendly. The beauty stylist applied it on me and it was a fairly quick process. The tint goes for $38 USD. I could imagine being it being used on the lower lash line blended out. As far as layering with other cream shadows...I personally never tried because I worry about it migrating and becoming one blurry mess. What I've done in the past with my other shadows is just use the cream shadow as an all over lid color and then go in with a pan shadow to do my crease work (making sure that the cream product is dry before doing so) and brow bone. Wearing this one by itself without any other colors or liner for that matter was actually quite beautiful...a nice simply and understated look.
