I stole this idea from Hannah who did this look with her Monarch Palette. I don't own the monarch palette, so here are the products I used.

NYX Angel veil primer
Pixie brightening primer (as concealer)
Sonia Kashuk eye shadow primer
RCMA foundation palette
Geek chic cosmetics transluscent setting powder
Geek chic cosmetics blush in nerdgasm
Lipshine lipstick in Hush
NYX matte nude eye shadow
MAC eyeshadow in bronze and copper
Wet N Wild Color ICON palette in matte orange
Pixie eyeliner in copper glow
(same color worked into lashes as mascara)

CC please! This is my first selfie on Beautylish sorry about pic quality.

Thanks Sandy. I'm so technically challenged when it comes to photos. Thanks Jacqlyn, I love the RCMA foundation. It lasts all day. I put it on about 10 hours before the photo, but I did do a wee touch up before I took the photo.

Thanks Cassidy, it's driving me crazy that the towel hanging behind me in my bathroom looks like a streak of white hair...

You guys are so kind. My skin had a lot of help from NYX and RCMA. I have rosacea, acne scars and dry patches in my t-zone. It's far from flawless in real life.

We finally get a pic!! Yay!! The color looks great on you! I like what the guru said, I've learned with hooded eyes to take the shadow to the side rather than up. But you look so pretty! And your hair looks amazing. I'm so happy you posted!!

Thanks so much Jacquelyn. I see what you are saying about blotchyness. I think it was because I came home late in the day and touched things up so I was laying down more makeup over places where it had creased a bit. I have trouble with smoothness anyway because of my crepey lids. I will try the trick of putting down some extra primer to patch the hole next time. Great tip! I have also always struggled to be light handed with eye shadows. I think it comes from the old days of not very good makeup that just needed so much product to even be seen. I will try to go slower and lay down thinner layers.
I see what you guys are saying about going outward rather than upward with my crease...I think I got carried away with the butterfly theme.
Jacquelyn and Kathryn your comments are so helpful and appreciated.  :)
