I want to try out hair extensions for the first time. What's the best type of extensions to purchase and the best method aside from clip ins?

Depends on what you're looking for. Personally I like my sew in because it gives my hair a chance to rest without chemicals and heat which allows a lot of growth.

I like clip ins because I can wear them when I want and get a Break and I can put it where I want. I also have very thin fine brittle hair.

You braid your hair first for that right?

I feel like clip ins would fall out or come out of place.

Jamie yep you braid you hair underneath. I don't like closures so I leave a little hair out for blending purposes.

I like sew ins if youre not into clip ins. But if you think theyll fall out, that not true. I had extensions for years and I never had any fall out or even show. You have to find a good method. People didnt even know I had extensions until I said so and I wore 18 & 20' and my hair was pretty short.
