Hi guys, I have a major dilemma 😐... My skin is HORRIBLE! My forehead is dry and exceptionally darker from the rest of my face. Unusually it gets better when the suns out. On top of that I have acne scars on my cheeks and chin. I also have dark circles and I'm only 17!! All this looks way better with makeup on but I want to also be able to flaunt my own skin 😐 Are there any remedies and measures that I can take to fix my skin?? Please help. Thank youuu 😉

Do you exfoliate regularly?

Alexis C.
Make sure to exfoliate once or twice a week to help fade dark marks and help you skin look all the same color.
For dark marks also use a dark spot corrector and SPF.
For dark circles it depends on if they're genetic or not. If they are then there's nothing you can do. If they're not then make sure to drink plenty of water, get enough sleep, and sleep slightly propped up.
DO NOT USE LEMON. I only say this because someone will eventually suggest it for dark marks. Lemon throws off the skin's natural pH balance and damages healthy skin cells.

Retin A actually helped with my acne scars. Dark circles are usually genetic. I've just learned to live with mine lol.

Exfoliate and try a vitamin c serum:)

Like everyone said exfoliate as much as your skin can tolerate, wear SPF daily, & at night use Mederma on your scars. Do this consistently and you should notice improvement within a few months :)

I second the vitamin c serum that Angela recommended for fading acne scars and Alexis comment about lemon. I used it once on my skin and thought it helped my acne scars so I researched to find out if any other people found lemon to help their acne scars. Only to find out it's phototoxic or something and long story short actually makes acne scars worse by making your skin more sensitive overtime. So Stay Away! lol
