Okay so I always get these terrible dry skin patches just on my nose. I have tried so many moisturizers, neosporin, vitamin e oil, a & d ointment, aquaphor, etc. But nothing ever seems to help. Exfoliating doesn't help either. I was just wondering if anyone has some type of product that they use for this issue? Thanks!!💕

Josie Maran's argan oil is a literal lifesaver. I use just the light version and it works wonders. My skin has never felt so smooth and hydrated.

I agree about the Argan oil or try using jojoba oil:-)

Try a hydrating face mask! Also try using a heavy moisturizer on your face such as the body shops aloe day cream. Also use a water based primer under your makeup. Anything with silicone will make it more noticeably more dry.

Thanks everyone! I'll have to try these some of the asap. See the problem is yes, I overall have dry skin, but I have good moisturizer, primers, foundation, etc. but the issue is this one spot on my nose peels like when you get a sunburn kind of. It looks so gross with and without makeup. And its super red, it looks like when you pop pimples... Neosporin and aquaphor help with healing when covered with a bandaid but it takes about a week to get better, which sucks because it usually happens about every other week I swear.

Its like when you get a cut... Like open wound dry patches.

Oh that's interesting.. Well I suggest using an oil before going to bed & a heavy moisturizer it focus on that spot :-!

Thanks Gisell. I'm thinking about trying First Aid Beauty to see if it might help with this. I use CeraVe Moisturizing Cream with Vitamin E oil mixed and it really does help my skin look great (hardly and dryness like it used to be, and my skin looks dewy), except for stupid nose lol

I'm not sure about first aid beauty never tried any products but I know jojoba oil & Argan oil are amazing on dry skin& I think you should stick to your moisturing routine that's working for you but just add an oil or heavy cream on that one dry spot.

Thanks again and yeah I was just going to apply the first aid beauty repair cream (I have a sample I haven't used yet) just on the super dry spots and keep the rest of my skin care routine the same. I will be trying the jojoba or argan oil as soon as I can go to Sephora. 💕💜💕

You should try to moisturize it frequently throughout the day as well.

Yes Jacqlyn I remember asking you about which jojoba you used and I've been going back and forth on which one to try. I tried the sample of the FAB a long time ago but don't remember how it was, but I know it wasn't something I hated, so I'll be trying the sample I have now, soon again. Thanks☺️💜
