I'm going to make a hair change within the next 1-2 months. I really have been wanting to go gray for about a year now. Do you honestly think my dark skin tone and a darkish silver hair would go together??
Please tell me the truth! I don't want to be looking crazy! Lol
Xoxo,
LolaSymone
P.s., I've had a million colors and styles. From ombré to purple to pixie cut to long 28" hair to 40" Senegalese twists.

I'm honestly not sure, I think you could pull off certain tones of grey. However, your skintone isn't another extremity to the girl pictured, and she pulls it off fabulously. I think her midtone of grey (the colour inbetween the grey and the black) would suit you well, however the light grey she has would wash you out.

I honestly think that they look fine! I, personally, do not like the dark silver because it looks gray to me. Gray hair is stereotypically the color of "age". I think I would be okay with your rich skin tone. In my opinion, I really think you'd look amazing with black. You could actually pull of a black to dark silver ombré! That would be really unique! If not, I would love to see you in a black to dark red, brown and blonde, or even a dark burgundy/purple/pink! But, to answer your question, I honestly think it may be a little too light for your skin tone. I don't not mean any offense to this. Just like you wouldn't put black on a very fair person, you wouldn't want to put platinum blonde of a very rich skin tone. I hope I helped and I didn't mean to be rude or anything. :)

Perosnally I don't like the look of it. Just my honest opinion though. A lot of other girls seem to like it though so you know... I think the look looks really great with the 2nd pic you posted, with the big voluminous curls. I don't like the straight hair with dark roots look though. Just my opinion haha. Good luck :)

I agree with Adriana, I don't like the dark root look unless it's curled if not blended correctly. I'd say the deeper grey like the second picture would probably look good. :)

In all honesty I don't think grey looks good on anyone under 60. It just looks...ugly. That's just my personal opinion.

I love it. I think you could rock it for sure. Maybe download an app that changes hair color and see what it'd look like before you do it!

Yea maybe a darker gray would look good. I think the lighter one would wash you out to much

That'll be perfect! I almost never wear my hair straight. It's always curled 😝 I think I may go for the a cross between the medium and darker gray

Yessss I love that. I think the second picture would look so nice... Its almost silvery where as the first is like solid lighter grey. I also love the dark roots!
