OK so I was on google and was about to look up permanent hair colors... Soooo when I typed in permanent the phrase permanent makeup came up so of course I tapped on it because it sounds painful as heck but interesting. Long story short, I knew people sometimes get their eyebrows tattooed on but I didn't know you could get permanent eyeliner! Imagine having to never apply eyeliner again or even going to sleep and waking up with makeup already on. Would you get this done or nah? Why or why not?

Uhhhhh yeah! I would love to have permanent makeup, eyeliner especially! I would have it perfect every day and it would make winged eyeliner soooooooo much easier.

Not really, you have to get touch ups every now and then I'd rather de stress by doing my makeup, I have considered it though don't get me wrong.

I have a few tattoos, but I don't want a needle anywhere near my eyes! I'd probably be flinching the entire time

I have friends that have tattooed on their eyeliner. It fades, and they get it touched up. It supposedly doesn't hurt...I personally don't care for it, I enjoy putting on my make up and it's relaxing! But they are busy mom's who don't care for make up so I can see why they like it.

I'm such as wuss at times. But I can 100% see why people get this done. The eyeliner does look cool, but I wouldn't want to be stuck with one color

Yeaaaars ago my mom attempted to get her eyeliner tattooed, they have to go over the same line twice but after the first line my mom couldn't take it and she didn't go through with it. She said it was suuuper painful.

I've heard of brows and liner getting a greenish tint as it gets old...and god forbid if a mistake was made like that's on your face. I'd rather just wash it off at the end of the day. A few minutes getting ready isn't so bad.

I have my brows tattooed, and I know my moms friend has her eyeliner done. Hers looks nice but I wouldn't do it (:

I personally wouldn't, but it is a pretty cool concept.

I'm not sure about the time period of getting them redone, but you have too think of it this way that eyeliner brow, is going to be in direct sunlight so it will fade much faster, tattoos in direct sun light need more touch ups sooner then those that arent, I'd estimate maybe 2 years but it will most likely depend on how much direct sunlight ur in

Big no for me. What about when you're 60? 80? I wouldn't want that permanency with makeup. I'd get bored with the same look everyday. Lol maybe I just have commitment issues.

I wouldn't lol. My uncles girlfriend has her eyeliner and lip liner tatted, though. She said it was the most painful thing ever and she's had two kids lol.

And my auntie has had her brows tatted since she was 18 and it barely started noticeably fading a few years ago! It got a reddish tint, lol, the tattoo is still a bit notice (obviously) and they're like straight up red and they were brown when she first got it done haha!

My aunt gets her eyeliner tattooed on, she gets it touched up every year or so I believe.

My friend had her brows tattooed a few years back but now she needs to get them touched up because they have faded green :/ in the end she now covers the green by drawing over it with a brow pencil which kind of defeat' s the whole purpose of having them done in the first place,to not have to fill them in.

Yeah my great grandmas faded to green haha. so weird... My auntie has only had them touched up once since she was 18, she's 35 now. They faded red, but my great grandmas are faded to a green color as well.

One of my friends mums has her eyeliner tattooed on, for her she said it was painful but worth it, she's forever bragging she doesn't have to put it on anymore lol. I've been looking into getting my brows done, still searching for the right place though :)

I can't see the point of tattooed lip liner - it's not going to prevent feathering or make the color last longer, so what does it do?
