So I have dry skin and after I've put my foundation/powder on it looks a bit cakey. It's obvious I need to apply something before I even put on the foundation but I don't know exactly what. Please help😁

I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend loreal true match lumi for dry skin, I love it so much. It's incredibly considerate of dry skin. Use a primer beforehand.

I was just going to suggest Rimmel Match Perfection. I have dry skin and I apply oil then moisturizer before I apply it. It's a beautiful finish-if you have a CVS around you I recommend checking there I got a few shades of it, on sale for $3!!

You might also think about a BB cream or a tinted moisturizer. Both are a lot creamier than traditional foundations and are great for dry skin. I'm use a combo of a Revlon CC cream and the Laura Mercier tinted illuminating moisturizer, and really like those on my dry skin.

Definitely moisturize your skin before, and add a thin layer in areas that have dry patches (for me its usually around my nose forehead and chin) and also use a primer!! Those two things do wonders :3.
