Hello :) I am looking into dying my hair to a mint green & pastel purple ombre. thing is, I don't know what dye will give me the best result. Can you ladies suggest the best brand that offers these colors, where the color will truly be the that color and give off a good shade? I know I have to bleach my hair first in order to achieve these colors, I've had my hair died before a few times. I went from a blonde ombre, to purple & blue ombre, to pink and green ombre and now my hair is currently blonde and purple.( will post picture below of my hair currently.) Thank you in advance.<3.

Do you have a picture of the colors you want?

I think it will be cute, but I would recommend doing the mint green darker than the purple so it resembles a ombre more. I'm actually more concerned about how you're going to get rid of the purple. Are you going to strip the color and then bleach it? Your hair is going to get really damaged if you continue to subject it to bleach.

For the pastel shades you're going to need a white blonde base, and your hair right now is three very different colors which are going to bleach differently. I would go to a professional salon and ask them to use olaplex when they bleach your hair so you can minimize the damage.

I know my hair can get damaged if I continue dying my hair and using bleach, but it all depends how you do take care of your hair. and even if I do ruin my hair, I'm not going near my roots, so future wise I can just cut my ends off and let my hair regrow. ( Leila.)
And Justine, unfortunately I cannot afford to get my hair professionally done right now. And, it will not be me dying my hair. My aunt, who is a beautician and has experience with hair, will be dying it for me. Thank you for your concern though.

I'm not understanding how exactly you want your hair. Brown, purple and green?

Yes shanae. I do not plan on touching my roots.

Oooooh, I see. That's smart then. To get the pastel color, mix the dye with conditioner to lighten it and get it to be pastel.. after bleaching your hair white blonde of course. I think you should go for manic panic.

Thank you, aha. I really don't have the intention iof touching my roots with dye, were they would get damaged and I would be screwed. And when I dye my hair, I use a special conditioner that softens the ends and returns it back to the natural, thick texture I have. I also do hair masks and such to take care of it and use leave in conditioners. So, I should use manic panic as the brand, and mix the dye with conditioner to achieve the pastel colors? do you recommend any specific conditioners for this? And before doing this dye my hair white blonde. Thank you, you are really helpful! :)

I don't really have any specific conditioners in mind, which one do you use now? I'm sure it'll work fine. You could also keep the color vibrant by using the conditioner that you put the dye in every time you wash your hair. (:
