What to wear for date??

Hey everyone! :*
Me and my boyfriend are going out to dinner on Saturday evening, it's out first real dinner date so I want to make a good impression but still be me. We're going to this sushi/wok restaurant which I would say is kind of fancy/formal but not too over the top. The problem is I have no idea what to wear :c. I was thinking of wearing my wedge heeled black boots since they're warm and comfortable to walk in and it's winter here. I'm planning on doing rather simple makeup because I know that's what he likes but I'm clueless about what to wear! I hope you girls can help me out. Thanks <3
Btw I wear pretty much anything. And it's winter and cold here so I will have to wear tights with skirts or dresses and a coat on top.
