What is a good box dye?

I've been dying my hair a burgundy colour at a salon but I'm not working at the moment so I want to dye it myself. I used Garnier Nutrisse Cream Hair dye and I loved the colour but I found it faded very quickly. I'm looking to achieve a similar colour to this photo. I'm NOT looking for a specific hair dye colour suggestion but I'm looking for suggestions on a specific hair dye BRAND that could give me a rich long lasting colour. Any ideas?

Any 'red' color will always quickly fade out. I've had my hair literally every shade of red. You'll have to constantly color your hair. I did mine every 3-4 weeks.

I have not tried much of the box dyes but I've tried nice n easy in auburn and it was great. Love your hair! How did you get it to be so glossy??

I second mari f. revlons box dyes are really good I only use that brand and the best thing is its the cheapest box dye I've seen in my drugstores costing at $2.99-4.99 a box but I also do agree red is the hardest color to keep vibrant as it is the quickest to fade with any brand
