When I remove my eye makeup and wipe it with a tissue my under eye will burn and stay that way for a while. I broke my ankle today and obviously I was crying my eyes out and my own tears burned my eyes and when I went to wipe them away the pain was unbearable. They aren't red or show any signs of an allergic reaction or anything but everything lately has been so sensitive. Even just water. It makes it very uncomfortable to sleep and I'm kinda concerned. Does anyone know what this means?

Try using a really gentle eye makeup remover and maybe you're rubbing to vigorously?

Yeah this doesn't sound beauty related. See an ophthalmologist.

Have you been using any sort of new products on your face? Or anything such as heavy duty prescription creams that could thin out the skin around your eye area?
