Vitamin c serums are good for that and exfoliation

A chemical exfoliant and a vitamin c serum. The combo that seems to be fading mine albeit slowly, is Peter Thomas Roth peel pads and Ole Henriksen truth serum. Hope it helps!

Hey Cristina, if you're willing to put up with the wait and side effects (about 12 weeks and side effects are dry skin, irritation and redness), a great product is Retin-a. Its a prescription cream or gel thats basically a form of vitamin A, it increases cell turnover so scars eventually fade and if you have acne that will go away too. If you decide to try Retin A please see a dermatologist first and have them tell you more about it. I've been on it for about 3 weeks now and my ance scars have definitely been improving.

I'd agree with Retin A. It is hard to be patient because it does take a while and is so drying. I really haven't had any luck with Vitamin C, but some people do.

You can also try Mederma (skin care for scars). It comes in a tube and you rub it into scars 3-4 times a day til it fades. My cousin had a horrific burn on her hand and it helped immensely with minimizing the scar.

They sell Maderma at most pharmacies. Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid etc. or even Wal Mart.
