Dye my hair red?

It just occurred to me that my hair might look pretty cool if I put a red vegan dye in, maybe it'd come out a sortof dark red to brighter red ombré looking thing. What do you girls think I should do? Otherwise I might buy a brighter permanent orange colour. Opinions?

I personally love the ginger but I assume you miss the crazy colors, so if you're really craving it red would look gorgggg.

@ Alli, I wish I could get an accurate picture of how orange my roots actually are lol, I like the thought of the bright orange equally as much as red at this point in time :)

I just realized that my answer didn't really even make sense lol. I think either red or orange would look great, I'm personally leaning more towards orange.
