Ok so I got this pretty decent sample size of strawberry moisturizing facial oil with one omegas 3 6 7 &9. the other day I notice that I had bumps on my forehead but then figured put that they were dry patches because when I use a lot of cream the seem to vanish and plus you would normally see bumps these were non visible and disappeared with cream Lmao. Does this oil cause dry skin? I know it's not th retinol I'm using cause the dry skin went away a lot time ago with that. this is the only new product that I've been using. and plus I find it weird that a moisturizing oil would cause dryness.

This stuff dried my skin as well and I'm an oily/combo girl.

To solve that problem I just applied a moisturizer over it to avoid dry parched skin the morning.

Oh wow!! that's so insane to me considering its supposed to be "moisturizing" lol. I have just super dry skin all year round so I though maybe an oil would work for me. thank Shelley :)

Its basically a dry oil so its more readily absorbed by the skin versus castor oil for example that will just sit on top of the skin and take forever to be absorbed. I still wouldn't consider this oil a complete waste though. If you still have it you can apply moisturizer over it or if push comes to shove and you can try adding a drop to your foundation/bb cream or tinted moisturizer. Its so annoying when they label something as a moisturizer when it fact it should truly be called an oil serum.lol.

Once I noticed that my skin was dry I started loading the creams lol. I figured it was a serum because it gives the affect of smooth skin but no moisture like the retinol. did you like this Shelley? did you use it for a while and what is it supposed to do? lol I just thought it was a moisturizer

It more of a serum oil to me...since it contains antioxidants (the Omega's 3,6,7 and 9 listed on the bottle). Its purpose is basically to maintain the elasticity of the skin and protecting it from free-radicals that lead to collagen depletion in the skin. It also assist in with those dealing with acne (reducing it). I used up a full-size bottle in about three months but I also sharing it with my daughter and it did assist with clearing the little acne she had. Would I buy it again? Probably not considering I could get similar oils that offer the same benefits at the health food store and far cheaper as well.

That's awesome cause I suffer from bad hormonal acne but the retinol has helped it so much. where I live we have no health food stores and it sucks lol

That bites not having a health food store. I cried when Whole Foods came into my city since the other health food store in our area doesn't carry a huge range of natural skincare products. If you have a Vitamin Shoppe they have a beauty section. And yes to retinol!! I reach for it from time to time. I really just need to go thru my current stash of moisturizers and just make it my nighttime exclusive because used long term I have seen great results but the skincare junkie in me can't resist the latest products.lol.

Yes it's so weird to me that I live in one of the largest cities in tx and we don't have one. I know we have gmc and all of those main stream vitamin places.
