Where would I find garlic polish. I've heard of it but have never seen it.

You can also make it yourself, just grate some garlic and put it in a clear base coat polish. Or you can do what I do, just rub a clove on your bare nails overnight :)

Thanks I'll look into that. Breeze does that make your nails smelly funky?

It all depends on whether you like the smell of garlic, haha. I say yes, but if you leave it on overnight, the next day just wash your hands with dish soap (if you have one gentle enough to wash dishes with bare hands), apply a good hand cream (I suggest Kiehl's ultimate strength hand salve) and you're good to go, the smell shouldn't linger too long. I cook with garlic all the time and I just rub it on my nails whenever I use it. If the odor persists, an essential oil you might already have at home such as lavender, thyme or mint can help.

Haha breeze I like cooking with garlic I just don't like smelling like garlic but if it works I'll totally do this. Will it still be gentle enough to use on my daughter? Sadly she got my crap nails haha poor girl. My son though my gawd. Why is it boys always have better eyelashes better nails and better skin? Not fair lol.

To get rid of the smell in the morning just rub a slice of cut lemon on your nails, then wash them, then follow with a good emollient lotion.

Aw I'm sorry about that, it's true, kinda sucks :/
I'm positive it's fine for your daughter too :) another trick is to avoid getting them wet (washing the dishes, sucking your thumb...)
