What are your recommendations? I have Mary Lou manizer which is pretty strong and Benefit cosmetics High beam. I'm looking for something subtle.

NYX Illuminator! I have it in Ritualistic and it gives the perfect glow without being too overpowering, plus it's affordable and you get a ton of product and only have to use a little bit so it'll last a long time (:

Too Faced candlelight glow duo! If you use a fluffy brush to apply and lightly swirl it across the powder it's super subtle and pretty.

NARS Albatross! This was my favorite a few years ago and I finally purchased it again. It looks stark white in the pan, but when applied it give a gorgeous golden glow. With this a little goes a long way :)

I have several highlighters. Some are matte with a banana undertone, some have a matte pink undertone, some have shimmer with a gold undertone, some have shimmer with a champagne undertone. I love them all. BUT...If I had to choose just ONE all-purpose highlighter, I would choose Laura Geller French Vanilla. It is a soft well, "French vanilla tone, it it has a pearly eggshell finish. The perfect hybrid of matte and shimmer. No sparkles or glitter, just a consistently even-looking pearl-finish. I also like that its "baked". Which means it started out as a cream so it feels creamy.

I have a slight highlighter addiction, and have way more than I will ever use in my lifetime lol. My favorite when going for a very subtle lit from within look is Mac Lightscapade. When you swatch it, it looks white, almost transluscent, but once applied to the skin it's this most beautiful understated glow that doesn't look like you applied anything, you just look naturally radiant.
