So I want to get my hair ombre'd blonde at the bottom but I heard it's really bad for your hair! is this true? if so could you give me any natural remedies that won't damage my hair.

Coloring and bleaching your hair is going to cause damage but you can minimize the damage by making sure your hair is properly hydrated before getting it bleached, which is what will have to be done if you want it blonde.

I doubt the hairdresser will know how to lighten hair naturally and even if they did I don't think they'd give you the information so they could do your hair. As I said before, just make sure your hair is properly hydrated beforehand and make sure to keep your hair healthy and hydrated afterwards to minimize damage as much as possible.

Alexis is right, I had ombre for about a year and I just cut it off and went back to dark hair. Ombre destroyed the end of my hair (obviously because of the bleach.) No amount of deep conditioning was going to save my hair so I cut it off.

I have my natural VERY dark brown on the top and this caramel-blondish on the bottom of my hair. I had gotten it bleached on the bottom for an ombré. Obviously, my hair WAS FRIED on the ends, so I did about three deep conditioning treatments a week for two months, and I get my dead ends chopped off as often as needed. My hair isn't to the exact health it was before my bleaching, but it's almost there. I'd say go for it, just take extra care from then on.

I'm a hair dresser and I have ombre hair. I don't know what these people did to fry their hair so bad with an ombre. As long as you have pretty healthy hair and go to a stylist who knows what they're doing your ends will not get fried. Don't try to ombre it yourself that could end badly. I love my hair and I definitely recommend going for it. Good luck :)
