My dermatologist prescribed me epiduo at night and clindamycin phosphate gel in the morning along with doxycycline which I had to stop because it made me wayyyy too sick. My doctor told me to use a benzoyl peroxide wash, right now I'm using the panOxyl brand. Is this too much for my face? I was kind of concerned using a benzoyl wash with the other stuff because it sounds like a lot. Right now my face is super tight and dry and burns when I put moisturizer on, but I know this is a side effect of epiduo.

Maybe try an oil like jojoba oil to moisturize.

How long have you been doing these? I use epiduo and aczone and my face does get dry and tight at times, just invest in a great moisturizer/face lotion. And use it religiously! Lol. But if your Derm prescribed this and you're using it right, stick with it for a while! Then decide if it's too much for you. I have recommended my moisturizer so much this week, but I love it!! It's nuetrogena sensitive skin face lotion:)

I know your doctor told you to use a benzoyl peroxide wash, but I wouldn't recommend it. There are already many harsh products being used on your face. I too have been on epiduo, so let me tell you; it's going to dry out your face like you wouldn't believe. So, that being said I recommend Cetaphil as a face wash. And make sure to moisturizer a ton! I recommend Aloe Vera.

Wow, that seems kind of harsh for your face! I've used epiduo for a bit but once fall came I switched to Tazorac because it's much more creamy and moisturizing. As for the panoxyl, I use that too but only for my bacne :-( again, it's too harsh for my face. I second the cetaphil wash!
