Hello there!
so I have scars from... tough times in my life... and I was looking for a way to get rid of them. I'm not making anymore, don't worry about that.
I would prefer a diy remedy because my parents don't know about the scars and I'd like to keep it that way so I don't bother them with it.
if you help, thank you!

Honestly I would steer clear of DIYs. Most include ingredients that are harmful to the skin and would just do more harm than good.

I'm not sure encouraging you to hide your pain from your parents is the best plan of action. I'm glad you've moved past creating new scars and so my best advice is to aim for optimum health in all aspects of your life...mind and body. A great DIY for that is reminding yourself that you are loved and finding a positive outlet by which to channel your struggles. My best to you.

I'm okay now, I'm ashamed I did that to myself. I'm not trying to hide my pain as there is no more pain. I get where your coming from though

No need for shame. I'm so glad you are doing better. Just keep your skin moistened and be cautious when trying any DYI. Our skin is all so different and so one can never exercise enough caution when embarking on a home remedy.

If they're just discoloration or slightly raised I'd recommend Mederma. I know you said DIY but a lot of them don't work or take forever.

Don't hide your scars, let them inspire you to have a better life then in the past!
