I love how the Ben nye banana powder works but in the winter its making my under eyes look dry, cakey and really yellow. What under eye setting powders do you recommend? I just want something that's going to be long wearing with no creasing.

I use Mally Face Defender which isn't a powder but a clear solid balm like product that is in a compact. There is also Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder which is specifically for undereyes only. You can also try using a tranlucent compact powder, they're not as heavy as long as you use a small soft brush. But another option is in the application method. You can dip your brush into your powder and then completely knock off most of the powder into the powder jar. Then a couple more knocks on your wrist. Then lightly "roll" the brush under your eyes. Apply it REALLY lightly, as if YOU'RE trying to powder someone else's undereye while they sleep.

Just thought of another suggestion. You can applying your powder with a damp beauty blender. Its kinda tricky as not to get too much on the sponge. I would put a small amount of powder on the back of your hand and dip the blender onto the powder from your hand for better control.

My HG powder is Tartes smoothe operator. You only need a little and this stuff works soooo well! Just apply with loose powder brush and you're good to go :)

I've been on the hunt for a good undereye powder! I have got the nars crystal light reflecting powder and it sits lovely, however it has the sparkle in it which I really dislike. I have tried the Laura mercier undereye powder but I also found that sparkly. I think I will try the bobbi brown in pale yellow next

CoverFX illuminating setting powder!! Not shimmery at all, just takes away any sort of cakey/powdery look while still setting under the eyes. Also CoverFX is a great brand if you have sensitive skin, won't break you out.
