Hey! so, I've been using proactiv..bad news, completely DESTROYED my face. now I am trying Biores charcoal cleaner.
QUESTION: Is there any toners and moisturizers that don't have salicylic acid OR benzoyl peroxide in them?? Please and thank you!!

Oh and coconut oil... is it safe to put on your face?

I love the seaweed line from the body shop. It's super gentle. And it'll help calm what proactive did to your face.
And coconut oil can clog pores, some people break out from it. I wouldn't recommend it on the face. Try jojoba, argon or maracuja oil. They aren't as known to break people out.

Lush skincare is gentle and works really well! They have lots of different products for different skin types too.

I love Theraplex's Hydrolotion! It really helped me get my skin back to shape after an unusually cold winter.

I try out a lot of products. I mean...a lot. And sometimes my skin just says F you and rebels. Or I experience major irritation because a particular product causes me serious grief (ultra dry skin, itchy/achy skin, contact dermatitis ). So when the skin has had enough I use super basic products till my skin is balanced and happy. While I love Biores Charcoal Cleanser it can continue to contribute to drying out your skin. You need to infuse it with moisture and tlc.
Cleansers: CeraVe cleanser, Cetaphil, Hada Labo Tokyo Hydrating Facial Cleanser
Toners: Simple toner (its fragrance, colorant, alcohol free and super duper affordable), Mario Badsecu Aloe Vera Toner is free of alcohol and is great for sensitive skin (its label as being for dry skin but oily/reactive skin can benefit from it as well)
Moisturizers: for daytime you will need something with an spf...Neutrogena Moisturizing Spf35 oil free formula. Mario Badsecu line also has one with spf's 17 and 30 and for nighttime use Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream, DDF Ultra Lite Oil Free Moisturizing Dew
All the products I suggested can be found at ULTA with the exception of the Simple toner which is sold at Walgreens and Walmart. I have used them myself one time or another and have been helpful when my skin freaks out. I would rotate with the charcoal cleanser with something more moisture infused.

Clinique's mild clarifying lotion. NOT the one for skin type 1 but the one actually called mild. And I don't know for sure but I would bet that Origins offers one without either of those ingredients as well.
