Any recommendations for good face masks that help control oil? I have a lovely face cleanser that has really helped my acne, but I'm still an oily mess by the end of the day. Any suggestions?

I have dry skin so I'm not positive but one of my fave masks leaves my skin even more dry and I know it at least absorbs oil. It's the Queen Helene mint julep mask and it's less than $5 for a seemingly bottomless tube:)

Yessss I totally agree with Angela the queen helene is super awesome. I don't use it for that. I normally use it to dry out break outs. but my little sister whom is acne prone and has horrible oily skin uses it and it helps her a lot.

Murad's Clarifying Mask always helps me when I get oily and calms any inflammation I have. It does smell like sulfur, but it really works.

I third the Queen Helene mint julep mask. I'll use it in the morning and it'll keep my oily skin at bay all day :) Plus it really wakes you up!

@ Kailey - what cleanser ended up working for you?

The brand is Dermadoctor, and it's called Ain't Misbehavin. It's kind of weird because you put it on dry and rinse off, so I usually take any makeup off with a cloth first. But it's seriously amazing. I never really thought there was an anti acne product that actually delivered results, but I would say my skin is about 90% better after using it.

Origins Clear Improvements Charcoal mask or their Out of Trouble mask. The Out of Trouble is more so for acne prone skins but it can help with oil too. The charcoal one is fantastic though. It is literally like your skin is taking a deep breath. If you are on a budget (because $20 for a mask isn't always doable, but I will say that I have purchased the mask twice now and the first one lasted me an entire year. I literally just replaced it a month or so ago and I got the first tube right after Christmas last year. So it's sort of worth the investment I feel.) the Freeman dead sea mineral mask is nice and they now have just a plain charcoal mask too I think. Either of those are nice and are somewhat comparable to the Origins one.
