I agree with some red eyeshadow blended in. I loved rocking red shadow when I was in high school (Gerard Way was/is one of my style icons). I've toned it down but I'm still a gothy kid at heart and I love dark eyes.

You could try something like what I'm wearing today, grey but blended with a shimmery blue. I used "Armor" from Urban Decay's Vice palette and "Shattered" from their ammo palette. I don't know if they make armor in an individual pan but you could substitute with "Gunmetal" I topped it with some Lorac 3D luster for extra sparkle but that may take away from the gothy-ness lol

*shrug* I was gothy when I was a kid and I never wore my eyes that dark. I did a thin black line on the top and bottom and then gray or black shadow only on the lid. Pretty damn sure no one ever said I wasn't wearing enough makeup.

I grew out of my goth stage. Lol But I wore A LOT of eyeliner. Really thick.

I tend towards the dark look but I'm also a mom and work in an office so I can't look too over the top. I tight line my black liner and do my water line and smudge out a dark shadow on the lid close to the lash line. I am already pretty fair so I just do very subtle blush and no bronzer at all. I tend toward a nudeish lip because my lips are shaped weird so I don't like to bring attention to them. A strong brow shape can add a little goth to your look as well.
