Depends on the pimple. If its a white head or pimple you popped some of the stuff out of, use benzoyl peroxide. (Neutrogena makes a good one) Benzoyl Peroxide kills acne causing bacteria so it will clean out the gunk and help it heal faster because it sterilized the area.
If its cystic or one you feel coming, use Clean and Clear acne advantage spot treatment. With 2% salicylic acid which exfoliates skin. it will prevent it from coming to a head and shrink the size by dissolving the excess dead skin cells.

Use Neutrogena's clear pore cleanser/ mask . It's the BEST.
