Styling Layered Hair?

I recently got my hair cut, and it's really layered now. And I cannot figure out ways to style it other than down for the life of me.
My hair is a little longer than shoulder length, I have side bangs, and my hair is naturally very wavy. And ideas or suggestions?

I have layered thick hair, maybe 4 to 5 layers, and like Emma said, curling or straightening looks awesome(;

If your face shape isn't long then try teasing it a bit. And curl the layers in words while straightening :) good luck

I have layers and when I put it up in a ponytail it looks super cute in the back due to the layers :)
