If you use any oils. Don't apply them to your roots. The hair closest to your scalp doesn't need to be conditioned. If none of these help. Try a clarifying shampoo like neutrogena or loreal. These remove all the product buildup. Hope that helps!! :)

Paul Mitchell makes a good shampoo that strips the hair of any product you use and oils. Think of it as a once a week shampoo. I can't remember the name but the professional should be able to show you

If you buy lush use there rehab shampoo & and no drought dry shampoo. i second a clarifying shampoo. has anything changed in your hair routine? anything different if so switch it. it can be seasonal to like me. i would stick to clearer shampoo's rather than heavy white shampoos that weigh down hair. Also no updos since they can make your roots worst.

Make sure you really scrub your scalp. Also what I do is only put conditioner on the ends of my hair, do not put conditioner directly to your scalp.

Stop touching your hair or running your fingers through your hair cause the oils on your hands can make your hair greasey. Also when you use conditioner when u shower, apply to only the middle of your hair to your roots, so it doesnt get on your scalp. Try dry shampoos too

Dry shampoo, baby powder and flour all work to remove excess oils at the roots!
