So, I was stupid and bleached my hair at home. I've gone to a professional to get it repaired and dyed, but it is still uneven and fried, even after several months. Any tips in making it less awful?

Trim your dead ends and use hair masks.

The best way is to cut it to the non bleached area.
There's actually a good meds called priorin. Its a pill, it helps my hair a lot, but I ran out and atleast priorin helps my hair get through for like 4 months without consuming it.
The least I can do without priorin is jojoba hairspa once a month :/

I started taking biotin about a month ago and it saved my hair. I had bleached my hair to the point of handfuls of hair coming out daily and when I started taking biotin it completely stopped falling out and it's much healthier. I've read reviews on it and it hasn't worked for everyone but it has definitely helped me!

I don't recommend taking any pills or vitamins without consulting a doctor first. They make these for people who are deficient in a certain area and actually need these supplements, but if you're not deficient, you can have serious health issues. It's not worth the risk. Just cut your split ends and use oils and hair masks to help heal it.
