I sometimes get that too. I think that it's either you have a lot of volume in your hair or you're hair has been pulled back in a ponytail or bun for a while and it is still in that slightly teases form. Hope I helped! 😘

Try changing your part, either deeper into the side or towards the middle. If that doesn't work brush your hair and take a shower then comb it while it's wet(carefully so you don't cause breakage and damage) so that the hair is lying flat against your head and then wait for it to dry. It will definitely decrease volume but it will make that go away! If that still doesn't work take a small straightener on low heat to just that section and move it from as close to your roots as you can get in a downward motion until about where your eyebrows are. Haha where I live we call them cowlicks :) just try to part your hair the way it's trying to go. I have ones at the back of my head.

I have that too. Mine is mostly because I have a lot of volume and texture in my hair, but I like it since I have wavy hair!
