I've heard that if you get the right one, it helps a lot. I have no personal experience with it, though I have been looking into it (:

It's supposed to help make your makeup last longer. If you get the right one, it can make a huge difference. Just like getting a good powder can keep your foundation in place longer :)

I like my Kat Von D setting spray. I think it helps with longevity and also gets rid of the powdery after I've applied the rest of my makeup.

They're meant to get rid of an overly powdery finish and some are meant to help the makeup last longer.
Though others, like Fix+ are meant to just be a 'refresher' putting moisture on the skin.
Kinda like... Moisturizing touch up in a way.
At least that's what I use when I'm not wearing makeup and mid day if the air is dry I will sprits some fix+
The glycerin helps bind water to your skin

You can spray it on your skin before and after make up as a primer and finish to set make up and have it last longer. I also spritz Mac fix onto eyeshadow brushes for more pigment :-)

It may or may not help makeup last longer - it's really meant to set powder on your face - which like aurora said helps so it doesn't look so powdery - I use the model in a bottle setting spray and I love it! I use it over my setting powder (which sets all the liquid products)

Thank you! that explains a lot it doesn't seem like a really necessary product I just wanted to really understand what it was before I shell out the money for it.
