Hey! I'm going to Italy next week and since I'm super pale I would like to be a bit tanned before going on the beach. I never used fake tan before, I'm not sure on how to apply it, how to take care of it to make it last, and which product to choose. Thanks in advance for your help! :)

I've never actually used tanning lotion, because I'm afraid of being orange. I do know that you need to rub it in all the way, spread the color, and make sure it's even. Very important. Honestly, I'd go get a spray tan.

Get jergens! Both their foam mousse, and their lotion is really good! The mousse can be a tad bit patchy around the ankles, but you have to learn just to not care, because most are. But you just apply as much as directed to the given area, and but be sure to rub it in all the way! I just circular motions but I know some people use just straight up and down movements :)

I would look up tutorials on youtube. I'm pretty sure Lauren Curtis has one, along with Shannxo(?).

Fake Bake Flawless or Banana Boat Tanning Lotion In Dark are great brands! Both are lotions, and they apply like normal lotions. They can stain your hands pretty badly, so either wear rubber gloves when applying or wash your hands immediately after applying to your body. For me regular hand soap doesn't get all of the staining off, so I use a little whitening toothpaste (crest 3D white), hand soap, and facial cleanser/makeup remover. Wash the palms and in between the fingers to remove the stain :) Have fun Dear!

I use the st Moriz self tanning mousse in dark and I love it. The jergens mousse gave me like zero color even when I used two coats. You can get st moriz at ulta, or on Amazon. A lot of people say it's as good as/better than the st tropez one which is around $45 rather than $7-$13!

I use a loreal mousse, but it takes forever to dry
I watched a video gigi gorgeous made on YouTube to help me learn to apply (I'm still pretty new to it I've only done it twice)
Just be careful with your elbows and knees, they can take up color better than other parts of your body so only use a little in those areas
And get someone to help you with your back

Vichy is works wonders it won't make you look fake also I love fake bake but one thing to make sure of even if you have very light skin get one for dark to medium skin tones because the ones for light skin tones will make you look yellow I also have used million dollar tan and that stuff works amazing

St tropez mousse is my favourite. You apply it with a mit & it's really not possible to mess up! It's a really pretty natural colour. Although it's a bit pricey, it's definitely the best and I've pretty much tried them all. :)

You could you a "4" suncreen so you don't burn but you still can tan.
