Title says it all!! I have bad red dark spots on my face from acne, even pimples that are so old but leave a spot on my face that doesn't go away. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good primer or even anything else that would help!!

Primer isn't really going to do anything for hyper pigmentation, both healing and concealing wise.
For makeup, color correct with a yellow corrector followed by your foundation and apply skin toned concealer over that if any discoloration is peeking through.
For skincare, make sure to exfoliate, use a vitamin C serum, and make sure to wear SPF so they don't get darker.

Clinique actually has color-correcting primers. I've never used them though, so I don't know how well they work. You could get a sample at Sephora.

Any one that has correcting! I like Stila one step correct. A good drugstore option is maybelline master prime. The is now cure for hyper pigmentation, it will fade on it own.
