Okay ladies let's be honest for a moment. we always talk about products that work really well Holy Grail products... But I don't see too many postings about items that we actually hate. so I decided to create this post and seeing what items do you regret buying or what items that you did by didnt work and its way that it was supposed to and if you might have found another way to use it. I'll go first two items that are actually regret buying on the Anastasia brow Wiz and the Kevin Aucoin sensual skin enhancer. I've tried so hard to love both of these products and I just can't seem to like them. I haven't thrown either out because the one that skin enhancer with 50 bucks and nobody wants to throw out a product that's 50 bus and the anaesthesia brow Wiz I'm just kind of using it just to use it up.

This is a great topic!
For me I'd have to say the MUFE matte primer. I loved it at first and then I noticed it kept leaving weird white patches on my skin. (like white paint had dried on my skin) I thought I was using too much so I lessened it and it still did that! At least I only got the sample. Oh and the UD Naked Basics 1 palette. I like neutrals don't get me wrong,it just wasn't the palette for me but everyone was raving about it..definitely a regret.

Great topic 1st one would definitely be occ lip tars, I've tried several different ones from the matte, metal, and gloss hated them all, even there version of a lip primer. So messy and super drying, they also left nasty rings inside my inner lips. I tried only using a small amount to mixing them with lipsticks, anti feather you name it. 2nd would probably be anything lorac I know there are a lot of lorac fans out here but for me everything I ever bought I either returned or gave away other then the cobra mascara. 3rd the ud/24 7 pencils just a mess outside of the amazing color range the performed very poorly on my eyes.

I would definitely Benefit they're real mascara. even with two layers it seemed like I had none on. total waste of money.

That's a very interesting topic! :)
I received the maybelline baby skin primer as a gift (and I'm glad I did), first impression it really made my pores appear smaller before applying foundation! but after a couple of uses it's silicon texture just made my skin suuuper oily! Also I bought the catrice all matt plus foundation, but it has done the total opposite for me... plus it's super heavy on the skin

I hate hate hated the e.l.f liquid eyeliner. It got into my eye and gave me an infection, I'm still warry about that brand. My friend just gave me a whole bunch of lipsticks from them and I have ignored them so far. Also hate the Covergirl lipsticks. Don't even stay on that well and always dry out my lips. Like come on, at least Nyx Soft Matte lip cream stays put even though it dries out my lips.

Urban Decay 24/7 liner always transfers. Too Faced better than sex mascara flakes off all over my cheeks. Also every ABH product I've bought looks unnatural on me and has been returned. To be fair my brows are a hard color to match but that line is supposed to be like, eyebrow perfection. I know there are a ton more. I may log onto Sephora and Ulta and check out all my returns and report back. There are almost as many returns as purchases. I refuse to keep expensive products that don't perform.

Hi Jacqueline! I don't like how thick it is and slightly drying. I brought it because I had watched a few videos of some ladies simular to my skin tone using it as a under eye/face highlight. Could you possibly give me some tips on how to use it.

I mix the skin enhancer with a facial oil and a liquid luminizer. But I have dry skin. You can try mixing it with a moisterizer or another foundation.

I mix mine as well, Marleen so that is is easier for me to apply and adds hydration simultaneously, but I'm interested in hearing Ms. Jacqueline address Amber's question for tips!

I think it was Sandra who made a similar thread a few months ago and we all felt better after venting. Seems like now, Amber, is the perfect time for another!

Oh, and my latest letdown product is Aveda Air Control Hairspray. No hold, expensive and hella stinky. The odor lingers until your next wash. Yeesh!

I've tried that Aveda hairspray, it was intolerably stinky. I get my hair done there & love it there. But not a huge fan of their products. The only thing I use from AVEDA, no is their Daily Hair Oil.

For makeup I haven't really found anything that I HATE per se, but I dislike the porefessional (same reasons as mentioned above) as well as the baby skin primer. I can't stand the smell of Soap and Glory's Righteous body butter. A hair product that I do hate (and really wanted to love) is drybar's triple sec. It's supposed to be a 3 in 1 of dry shampoo, texturizer and something else. Made my hair look oily, felt dirty and gritty😖 at least I only bought it in travel size so it wasn't a complete waste of money😒

Omg Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour full coverage foundation! I researched and compared this to death. This is the only makeup I ever returned to Sephora. It was not full coverage, it looked patchy on my skin, emphasized both my dry spots and the oily areas around my nose. I used it everyday for a week with every primer I owned. On a good note, I bought the brush with it and I love the brush!
