What's your opinion on Mac foundations? I've heard they tend to break you out so I'm a bit optimistic about them. I've been trying a lot for Sephora...
Too Faced- born this way
Laura Mercier- silk Creme
MUFE HD
Givenchy photo perfection
Smashbox 15hour
None of these have worked for me.
So I'm asking for other foundations and opinions on Mac's!?

I found the MAC Studio Fix Fluid to be a bit heavy. What's your skin type and what kind of coverage and finish are you looking for?

I like the MAC Studio fix powder foundation.
Medium coverage, great for everyday, best applied with a buffing brush.
I have oily skin for reference.

I have Normal to dry skin and like more of a medium to more full coverage!

Well if you get spots then you need to use oil free. I'm actually wearing face and body right now I really like it

I agree with Aryana, Matchmaster is amazing! It's super lightweight and hardly feels like you're wearing anything. I've been wearing it for over a month and haven't experienced any breakouts.

Is it medium to full coverage.

My skin hasn't had the best of luck with MAC foundations. Till they released Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof foundation. It's been in heavy rotation and the stuff hasn't caused me any grief. It also doubles as a great under eye concealer. The finish is the perfect satin finish and sometimes I go without setting it with powder. It doesn't fade or separate on me and it offers full coverage without looking like a mask. My daughter also uses it on her clients with dry skin and they all look hydrated and healthy. I think MAC finally listened to their customers and really took the time to develop a nice foundation without all the irritants and infused it with some decent ingredients. I use a Beauty Blender to blend it out and it gives me a beautiful finish. My skin but better look.

I think that's the one I'm going to try, Shelley! Thanks so much. I have tried so many foundation here recently and everything has failed on me. It is VERY discouraging.

I have the pro long wear and every single time I use it I always have 1 or two pimple form while the foundation is on.

I also haven't had good luck with Mac. My go to foundation would definitely be Lancôme Tient Idoe 24hr wear. My shade is a perfect match (which is hard for me to find because I'm so pale) it's medium to full coverage, and it doesn't feel to thick or cakey on my face. It also blends very well.

The Lancôme is very matte though, correct?

Phylicia, that's what I'm worried about.

Yes, it is a Velvety Matte. But I find by using the right primer and setting spray I can also get that dewy look.
