I have this picture of youtuber HeyThereImShannon and I know she wear extensions in her hair but I'd like to know how to get this kind of texture and volume, I have the exact same hair cut as her and I can never get this volume, even with testing and hairspray.

I don't think she's getting volume that high on her head from extensions, so it probably is just a ridiculous amount of teasing. I know that blow drying your hair upside down makes it more voluminous, so maybe that will help.

I agree with gabby. also, she has thick hair naturally. I think that using a volumizing spray and teasing your hair would give it a similar look.

Yeah you have to tease. If you can tell from my pictures, I have lots of volume. And I get some of it from teasing, I have naturally thick hair, and the way its cut creates volume that I don't have to tease it much. I recommend using a teasing comb from Sally's. I blow dry my hair upside down, style, then tease. Youtube is where I learned how to tease my hair, I don't really do mine like the pic you posted but teasing kinda 80s style (the messier teased look) will give you the same thing...

Hair powder and back combing paired with a great texturizing and hairspray can give that kind of volume if your hair isn't too fine. Even with fine hair, you can see a huge difference with the right products and technique.

I think a lot of back combing and hair spray will do the trick!
