Very Dry Face Need Help Finding Moisturizer.

My face is really dry. I have really bad dry patches. I need help on what moisturizer I should use. I have used the clean and clear moisturizer and this brand called simple, but it has yet to work. Any suggestions would truly help me.

I have bad dry patches too from the acne medication I'm on and I've been using a tiny tiny amount of argan oil on my face and it's really helping!

I've tried cerave, simple, clean and clear, aveeno and other brands. I always go back to cetaphil. I love the moisturizing cream. If my face is feeling extra dry I like to mix in some argon oil or even use it alone.

CeraVe for sure. Cetaphil is nice but for me its wayyy too drying. I recommend CeraVe Hydrating Lotion & Moisturizing Cream (in the jar), the Moisturizing Lotion is great too but if you're really having issues, the cream is better. I also highly recommend Philosophy's Back to Nurture, its expensive but I got it about a month ago and its worked better than any other oils I've tried and it doesn't break me out. My skin finally isn't flaking since I've been using it and that never happens, usually my nose it peeling every couple of days.

I finally found my HG moisturizer. Well it's more like a butter really. It's Rosa Artica by Kiehl's. Make sure to get the balm version, but the light weight. I have the driest of driest skin, but this thing stays on a whole day/night without reapplying. The face looks matte after application, unlike the clinique moisturizer which make me look like an oily mess until it's absorbed and then nothing is left. It sits great under makeup as well.
