Sephora Birthday Gift Purchase.

I'm going to sephora mainly to get my sephora birthday gift that they offer. I think it's required to make a purchase to get it... But I have no clue what to get. I don't have anything that I'm needing.

Do you ladies have any suggestions of some standouts that you have tried and repeatedly repurchased from sephora? Skincare (I have combo skin), makeup, haircare, and tools.

It's not actually required to buy anything in order to receive your birthday gift, but I personally just bought all of the new Kat Von D Metal Crush shadows :) I'd really recommend the new Bite Beauty Frozen Berries lipstick collection as well. They're gorgeous winter/fall shades and I adore the Bite formula, they smell wonderful and feel amazing on the lips.

Really Hannah?! Sephora is a great company then. I can't think of many stores that have the same policies. If you had to choose one or two from the Bite beauty Frozen Berries collection, which two are your personal favorites? I haven't tried that brand so I have been curious to try something from them. What$s your favorite type of lipstick formula from bite?

Oh my, I only own one in the shade Barberry (I also own the Opal Crème lipstick for mixing with it) but their matte lipstick formula is far and away my favorite of their formulas, my amazing little sister took me to New York to the Bite Beauty Lip Lap and we got to make our own shades, and all of the ones that I made for myself were the matte formula. It is by far the most amazingly hydrating and gorgeous lipstick formula. It doesn't get dry or crack, it goes on super smoothly and with full opacity. It is, however, a more satin finish unless you blot it. If you blot it, it's a true matte, and if you just leave it as is it's more of a satin finish until it dries down a bit more. I absolutely adore their lipsticks.

Hannah, maybe I do need to get something from sephora now! I like how matte formulas look but I haven't found one that felt comfortable on my lips. I do like how it is either satin or matte depending if blotting, nice to have two finishes in one. I just looked up Bite's lip lab and watched a youtube video of the process. Your little sister is great at gift giving, because that is probably the best experience for a lipstick lover. I will have to swatch barberry and see if it compliments my coloring.

Thanks Rozberry for pointing me to one of the kits. I will look and see what kind of sephora favorites are being offered right now.

I think that one of the lipsticks from that new collection would be a good purchase if you're into lipsticks, I really do love them and I think that you should definitely take the opportunity to swatch all of them!

I wish they had one in Florida or I would definetly go. I looked at barberry and opal online, so gorgeous together. Hopefully Opal lipstick is in stock in store because it's out online. The gloss looked pretty too, a bit more subtle than the opal lipstick. Have you tried the Bite Beauty VIB Rouge? If so, what do you think of the color? I got the Marc Jacobs one with the vib gift but I felt like the formula was kinda dry.

Awesome Stephanie! I will check it out, I love blushes. If I had only had one makeup item in my lifetime, it would be blush since it livens up my complexion, instead of looking sickly pale.
