I've heard the benefit one is good for minimizing the appearance of pores not so much at keeping oil at bay.
I personally love the Rimmel Stay Matte primer.
I've used another one from them and remembered how much I liked it and noticed this one, gave it a shot and I love it.

I have oily skin too and when I tried benefit I didn't like it. I feel it does not make anything for my skin. Y like Smashbox, I have two of them, the one that says 5 in 1 that comes in a silver container and the one that looks like a clear gel it says it is for oily skin, I like them both

I used smashbox pore minimizing primer and nuetrogena shine control primer and mixed them together and it worked great for me.

Smashbox pore minimizing primer and the original photo finish primer by smashbox. Both are excellent.
