Foundation as a concealer?

Hey ladies☺️ I heard someone mention to me recently that you can you your foundation as a concealer? I was just wondering if this is actually effective. I would be looking to use it under my eye to help concealer bags:) thanks!

I actually use foundation as a concealer for my acne and it works. Not so much for my under eye circles though. I think it all depends on the quality?

Foundation is meant to even out your skin tone, not conceal. Though a higher coverage foundation will hide some marks you will need to use an actual concealer and color corrector to conceal under the eye, though you can use foundation if that's all you have, but the results won't be as great.

Some BB creams offer a thicker application for an even conceal and skin tone. But I mostly put a light foundation, powder then conceal over the top and powder again.
I find this works well for me, personally, but you can mix some of your concealer with moisturiser and use that to act as an all-in-one foundation :3
