Pencil vs. Liquid

I'm in need of some good eyeliner and I need it to not smudge and to last all day. What are the pros and cons of liquid eyeliner opposed to a regular pencil eyeliner? What brands tend to stay put all day long?

If you're doing a dramatic eye, I would definitely do liquid. I only use liquid. Nothing's bad with pencil eyeliner. I use pencil on my water line and tight line. But I would choose liquid over pencil

If your looking for a really good brand for liquid I suggest stilla but it's a little pricey but the alternative is the maybelline master precise and it works really well.

Personally I find that gel smudges less than both of these options BUT liquid is much better than a pencil when it comes to smudging. just make sure to let it dry first and you should be fine

Pencil wings always smudge on me...I would choose a pen liner.
