Omg, I thought the same thing about that hairstyle back when I played that game!! I was too lazy to try to recreate it tho, lol
I think it's just a matter of using a whole lot of hairspray

I would look up "fake side shave" or "sleek sides" on YouTube. You'll probably have to combine many techniques to get the look. Also Emma pickles created a similar look in her nina dobrev look. :)
